Artwork Proof Process
Review your artwork proof before approving production. Use it to check the design against your order specification, and request corrections while changes can still be discussed.
What should I send for the proof?
Provide your artwork, chosen product, finished width and height, quantity, colours, backing and placement instructions. We will request anything essential that is missing. See the Artwork Guide for help preparing your file.
What should I check before approval?
- Check every word, number and part of the logo for accuracy.
- Confirm the finished dimensions, shape and artwork position.
- Compare colours with the references you supplied.
- Check the product specification and backing against your order.
- Raise any unclear detail before approving the proof.
A digital proof is not always an exact physical colour or material sample. If a particular colour, texture or finish is essential, ask for clarification before approval. You can also enquire about patch samples.
Can I request changes to the proof?
Where a proof is supplied, ask for corrections before approving it. Describe each requested change clearly so the artwork can be checked against your intended specification.
What happens after I approve?
Production may begin after approval and any required payment or order checks. Changes after approval may affect cost and timing, but we will confirm material changes before proceeding. We remain responsible for producing the approved specification within reasonable, disclosed production tolerances.
Read the Production Overview for the next stage and the full Personalisation & Artwork Policy for approval terms.
