Frequently asked questions

Can I turn them into key chains?

Yes. Choose key chain as the backing and each patch is finished with a metal ring, so it works as a key chain or bag tag.

What is the difference between moulded and 3D silicone patches?

Both are made from moulded silicone with up to 6 colours. Moulded silicone patches come with sew on, iron on or key chain backing. 3D silicone patches let you choose the finish (glossy, matte, glitter or reflective) and the thickness.

What is the minimum order?

Prices start at 50 pieces for Moulded Silicone Patches. Larger quantities lower the price per patch.

How is my price worked out?

The price comes from the average of the width and height you enter, rounded up to the next half inch, and the quantity you order, plus a one off set up charge for extra logo colours.

Which backings can I choose?

You can choose plain backing, iron on backing or key chain. Plain backing is included. Any extra cost for the others shows when you select them.

Which backing holds best?

Sewing it on is the most secure option and lasts through regular washing. Iron-on is quick for cotton and polyester, but avoid it on nylon, leather and waterproof fabrics.

Which shapes and sizes can I order?

Sizes from 2″ to 8″.

Are there any design limits?

Most designs can be made. If a detail is too small or thin for this method, we will adjust it and show you the change on your proof before production starts.

Which artwork files can I send?

Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) reproduce best. High resolution PNG or JPG files also work.

What if my artwork is not ready yet?

Choose Email later and send your artwork after you order, or choose Get design help and tell us your idea. Production only starts once you approve the artwork.

Do I see a proof first?

Yes. A digital proof is sent for you to check before production starts.

How long does production take?

You choose this at the last step. The standard option has an estimated production time of 15 working days with no production surcharge. Faster options from 9 working days cost more, and a slower option costs less. The date shown is when your order is ready to ship, not when it arrives. If you have a fixed deadline, tell us before you order.

How much is delivery?

We ship to the UK, Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and worldwide. The delivery charge depends on where you are and the size of your order, and it is shown before you place your order. Orders sent outside the UK may have import taxes or duties set by your country. "Included" on a production option means no extra production cost, not free delivery. See our Shipping & Delivery page.

What are molded silicone patches?

They are patches made by pressing premium silicone into a mould, creating raised, durable detail with a soft, flexible feel.

How many colours can I use?

Up to 6 logo colours. From 2 colours there is a one off set up charge per order.

Are they waterproof?

Yes. Silicone resists water, sweat and weather, so they suit sportswear and outdoor gear.
